Local mostly California Coastal Temperatures today: This is the first Scalding! Day inland this season but okay in San Francisco on the coast

 San Francisco 74 for a high temperature at 7pm Friday presently 65 at 7pm.

Morgan Hill presently 85 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 96

San Ardo presently 99 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 106 tomorrow also 106 high

San Fernanda (LA area) presently 92 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 102

Palm Springs (southern California desert) presently  98  at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 101

Las Vegas presently 102 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 103 and tomorrow 104

Redding (near Oregon border in California) presently 103 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 105 and tomorrow 104 in Redding

San Diego presently 67 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 72

Los Angeles  presently 81 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 90

Malibu  presently 91 at 7 pm Friday with a high today of 99

So, you can see why people mostly live along the coast in California if they can afford it.

Because this is only going to get much worse as we move into the summer here in California.

However, remember a lot of southern California is Deserts so this means in general the air is drier in California than from Texas East and North of there. It's also why we get so many fires because of the dryness and the Santa Ana Winds when they happen and blow winds off the desert towards the ocean sometimes at 50 to 100 miles per hour. This makes fires go crazy and people often die in these fires when this happens. So, Californians (at least now) aren't afraid of earthquakes but they are deadly afraid of fires at the present time. However, as we all know this could change on a dime at any time.
