I got tired of PCs freezing and temporarily dying on me and switched over to Apple computers and Apple Laptops around 2005

After struggling with crashing PCS through MSDOS, Windows 95 and all the rest from 1987 to 2005 I finally realized that I needed to switch to Apple Computers and have stayed in this direction ever since. Why?

Because if an apple computer crashes EVER you likely need to take it to an Apple Computer store because it is either permanently dead or it needs fixing or the software needs to be updated. So, not almost every having your computer crash was and is a welcome relief since around 2005.

This is what I find works for me.

HOwever, my son has been upset with me because I taught him about computers since around 1978 when he was 4 years old in teaching him how to program his own games on a TRS-80 then and later in 1987 I bought an AT PC Clone computer with an Epsom Color printer for around 2500 dollars in Silicon Valley near San Jose.

However, when I swtiched from PCs to Apple computers I didn't try to learn all the specs like I did with other PCs so he gets angry with me that I didn't update.

However, for me after 20 or more generations of computer stuff I had moved onto learning as little as possible about each new computer generation just so I didn't have to forget so much within 6 months or a year from then because of new technology.

And it's still like this.

You can learn everything you want about a computer right now only to have to basically forget all this stuff within 6 months or a year when new technology comes out. So, since I have been learning new technology since 1966 and before I have learned to learn only a bare minimum because you might need to forget whatever you learned within 6 months or a year when new technology that you buy comes out.
