what is an enigma? It is someone or something difficult to understand.
However, I'm someone who gets bored easily so having an enigma to solve is interesting to me sort of like playing Chess. It's a challenge and like chess it's a never ending challenge.
While Trying to solve an enigma you are never going to be bored. You might get tired of trying to solve that enigma but you are never bored.
I find that having challenges in life makes life interesting enough to go on living.
It's sort of like watching the news on TV (which is sickening lately in the extreme).
WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT?
I find the "What's going to happen next?" question sometimes is a reason to live another day in itself.
Life goes through many changes and each new decade has different problems and different solutions.
zero through 10: "What is going on?"
10 to 20: "Can I survive the world the way it is?"
20 to 30: "Can I find a mate and friends to survive all this?"
30 to 40: "Can I keep my kids alive so they can survive all this?"
40 to 50: "Can I survive not being young anymore?"
50 to 60: "My God! How did I get to be so old?"
60 to 70: "I guess I might have to retire somehow" (Do I have enough money to do this?)
70 to 80: "Can I really be this old and can I survive being this old? and where is my Medicare?"
80 to 90: "Most of my parents and friends and cousins and aunts and uncles are gone now."
90 to 100: "Well. I guess I must be the exception to be living this long?"
I can go on but I think this will do for now.
