When I was young my dream was to either become an Alaskan Bush Pilot or maybe an Airline pilot. However, my father didn't want me to get a pilot's license even though I started flying a plane at age 8 with him and an instructor. This is because my father's brother died in a plane crash in 1942 and it devastated his whole family and he didn't want to go through all this again with me. So, I promised not to get a license and didn't solo in a Cessna 152 until 1989 a few years after he passed away. However, I was trying to get kids through high school and college at the time and so I never did get my full license but I can still fly a plane if I need to and carry my pilot's log book so I can demonstrate I can still fly a plane in an emergency.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
