The reason people start moving underground is for the exact same reason that people in Israel and Ukraine go into bomb shelters every time a missile or drone comes into Ukraine and blows something up. It's a way to survive drones. Since even Mexican Drug Cartels are using drones to haul drugs over the Mexican border now from everywhere south of there and Asia, you can also see how they are also using smaller drones dropping hand grenades on people they don't like already too which started in the Iraq war with little 300 dollar drones with a special plastic sheith that dropped hand grenades onto people in the dark below and blew them up. Likely the Mexican Drug Cartels are doing the same thing now to blow their competitors and other people they don't like up too.

So, as we watch more and more people spend more time underground in Bomb shelters in places like Ukraine and Israel and other places, it makes sense why people start spending more and more time underground to stay alive various places around the world. In some ways, as long as you have good air to breathe and enough light to see going back and forth every day gets old and so you might just stay underground more of the time just to stay alive and not have your life so interrupted going down into bomb shelters and then going up where you can be bombed or droned or missiled any moment or shot by planes strafing you or whatever.
