I think it's quite likely that this war with Iran will go on 1 year or longer and that gas prices could also double worldwide during this time

It's a complete mess worldwide caused by Trump attacking Iran.

However, I don't think you can see this attack on Iran by the U.S. and Israel as either good or bad for a variety of reasons.

This likely will be the end of Trump by the way because this war is likely to go on and on and on and on and destroy many places in the middle east (economically if not physically as well).

So, for the Middle East it is a complete disaster on all levels (nothing more needs to be said).

However, then you look at the rest of the world and it's a really mixed bag what you see.

For example, you see Russia now helping Iran in various different ways. Why?

Because without Iran making drones and missiles Putin is likely out of business as leader of Russia. That's why?

So, on the Russia level Trump completely miscalculated Russia in this equation and likely has miscalculated China and North Korea too.

 What would China and North Korea and Russia do?

I think they will try to bankrupt the U.S. like the Viet Nam War Bankrupted the U.S. and without Europe and Japan to loan America Money the U.S. likely would have gone bankrupt in the early 1980s. But, because we helped them rebuild Europe and Japan as the only big country left standing after World War II they lent the U.S. the money to not go bankrupt after World War II.

So, China and Russia and North Korea will be looking for a way to bankrupt the U.S. now because of the Iran war.

How would this work?

two ways. First, let Trump waste all our missiles and drones and bombs. for example it cost 3.7 billion dollars for the first 100 hours in Iran the U.S. spent attacking there. 

And what is 3.7 billion dollars divided by 100 hours? So, at least the first 100 hours it was 37 million dollars per hour to conduct this war against Iran.

It's true we have billions and billions of dollars of weapons. But, then you have to replace all these weapons don't you? And this is where it could bankrupt the U.S. in trying to replace all these weapons blowing up everything military in Iran. Because often these weapons when you replace them are going to now cost 2 to 10 times or more what they did before simply because of Diesel and Gasoline and Natural Gas costing up to twice as much worldwide as before.

However, if there is a silver lining in all of this, everyone will now be buying electric cars or hybrids just as a way of financially surviving all this worldwide. 

So, even though most electricity in places like California is natural Gas generating electricity more and more renewables are coming online too worldwide of necessity especially in places like Austria where I visited in October 2025 for about 3 weeks time. All Trains there are electric run mostly on renewables like water, solar or wind power at this point in time. So, economically at least they might do the best of many different countries because they have invested heavily in renewables for times just like these. 

However, I do presently believe that if trump sends American Boots on the ground into Iran it will be the end of him as President and also might actually kill him as well. So, I don't think Trump or Israel is going to get what they want.

So, maybe the best bet is to keep blowing up nuclear stuff wherever possible to prevent Iran from getting a nuke. However, remember they could buy a nuclear weapon from North Korea too. this is always a possibility as well. And Russia might facilitate this now that Putin cannot survive the drone and missile factories being blown up in Iran.

So, the factor Trump didn't consider in all of this was PUTIN. Putin might be the death of Trump yet!
