I was interested in whether Israel was still blowing up Police Stations (and jails that are connected to police stations) still or not? This is what I found out:
The idea of blowing up police stations is to foment Civil War in Iran which would be advantageous for Israel but likely for no other nation really in the Middle East (except maybe for Saudi Arabia who Iran has had many proxy wars with already like in Yemen and parts of Saudi Arabia for years now.
begin quotes:
As
of March 2026, Israel and the U.S. are engaged in an active, ongoing
campaign targeting Iranian military, security, and infrastructure,
including
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
(IRGC) sites and police stations in cities like Tehran. Recent
operations have heavily targeted Iranian internal security, with
reported strikes on Basij centers, police stations, and airbases across
multiple provinces, including Tehran, East Azerbaijan, and Kurdistan.Key Details of Current Activity
- Targeting Security Infrastructure: Strikes have frequently hit Iranian internal security apparatus and paramilitary Basij forces to neutralize key assets.
- Recent Attacks: As of early March 2026, reports indicate continued strikes, including one on the Headquarters of the Thar-Allah Revolutionary Guards unit in Tehran and other central police stations.
- Air Superiority: The U.S. and Israel report holding air superiority, allowing for consistent attacks on command centers, airbases, and military infrastructure, causing significant damage in Tehran.
- Escalation: The operations follow the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with the joint U.S.-Israel coalition aiming to destroy Iran's military capabilities.
The
campaign has also damaged the IRGC navy base in Chabahar and radar
systems, alongside significant strikes on the Iranian energy sector.
