Israel says it killed Iran naval chief who oversaw Strait of Hormuz blocking

Killing the Naval chief overseeing the strait of Hormuz makes no sense to me at all. If anything it would make Iranians want to keep the strait closed not open. This just isn't logical given the Iranian pride regarding things like this. Israelis and Americans like Trump are just not getting who the Iranian people always have been for the last 4000 or 5000 years, especially with a really bad government like this one in place.

I think treating the Iranians like they were Europeans or Americans does a disservice  to everyone around the world and makes the Oil crisis get worse and worse not better. The way Netanyahu and Trump are treating the Iranians is likely is going to  make things get worse and worse not better in any way.

The Iranian mindset regarding all this is sort of "Death before Dishonor" So, killing more Iranians will likely make all this worse (at least at this point).

It would be similar for Putin to want the Ukrainians to give up. They likely won't ever do this. Same thing. "Death Before Dishonor".
