So, what can be attacked cannot be moving but only stationary like a building, a plane in a hanger or troops in a bunker or other stationary targets that keep the same GPS location so the Shahed Drone can hit that target from up to 1000 miles away.
So, buildings of all kinds could be the target or oil wells or Military bases or oil refineries like this.
But, ONLY if the target is not mobile can this type of Shahed Drone succeed using only GPS co-ordinates given to the drone before it is launched (this is my present understanding regarding this type of Drone.
Also, this type of drone is used by Iran, Russia and then it was reverse engineered by Ukraine and the U.S. and the U.S. version I think is called LUCAS and the Ukrainian version is called the Beaver.
It is likely militaries all over the world are building them now because they are relatively inexpensive to build at $35,000 in the U.S. and likely cheaper in other countries depending upon availability of parts and labor down to around $10,000 dollars per unit in some countries. This (as I understand it) is the primary type of weapon blowing up U.S. bases and oil refineries and oil wells in the Middle East right now.
Because all of these are stationary locations with a GPS location. Therefore once that location is figured out on a GPS map and the drone is launched the drone likely will hit it's target most of the time.
