U.S. uses 'suicide drones' for the first time in Iran attack
This is an article about the American Use of Suicide Drones in Iran.
The basic way to describe a suicide drone is it is a drone with explosives in the war head up front but also could contain likely Cluster Bombs and kill anything within a mile or two on an open field with no buildings around to be hit with the clusters of fragmentation. I also think they are Against the Geneva Convention (Cluster Bombs).
I don't think Suicide Drones have been made illegal yet. Not sure about this.
This is one of the primary things Russia is blowing up Ukraine with (Shahed Iranian Drones). So, in this sense this might help Ukraine that Russia can no longer buy any of these from IRan because they cannot make them anymore because all capacity for that has already been blown up or likely will be soon by both the U.S. and Israel.
I don't know at this point what American Suicide Drones look like so I likely will research that for you. However, I have seen pictures of Shahed Suicide Drones with their wooden propeller on the back of them which can push them over 1000 miles with no one on board or nearby flying them.
So, could one carry a nuke if it was small enough into Israel? Of course! and that might happen one day and the present government of Iran is desperately trying to make this happen (again, again and again by the way) and also to the U.S. and Europe and many countries in the middle East as well.
Iran's basic idea (at least of this present government) is "Death to everyone who isn't Russia that Buys our Shahed Suicide drones!"
I will try now to look up what American Suicide drones look like:
- LUCAS (Low-cost Unmanned Combat Attack System): These are described as low-cost, one-way kamikaze drones used by the U.S. military. They are designed as a "poor man's cruise missile" with a range of around 500 miles, designed to carry a 40 lb payload, according to . They are patterned after Iranian Shahed-136 drones.
