2 hikers injured in bear attack on Yellowstone trail

My Experience with Grizzly Bears in Yellowstone. The first experience was kind of sweet except that one man went to close to the Grizzly Bear and got arrested by a Ranger. The Rangers don't want bears to kill people so they keep them at a distance so people stay alive when Rangers are present. When Rangers are not present if you are foolish you could easily die though if you don't understand how Grizzly Bears operate in their home turf. So, this grizzly bear was kind of like a Hippy Grizzly in that he was lying in the sun eating Flowers which was sweet. However, then some idiot got to close and then the Ranger arrested him and carted him off. For some bears there is a safe distance. But, the native Americans often call bears Big Dogs (in their native languages) and might I say "BIG WILD DOGS" and the problem with BIG WILD DOGS big enough to rip you in half in one second is that they might kill you or even eat you. So, unless you figure out a way to survive them then you don't.

Another experience was next door to Yellowstone national Park when I was camping with my family around 1990 then in Teton National Park. We had a new little one (now 37 years old) with us camping then and my stepson was at an Audabon Camp on a free scholarship then for a week near Dubois, Wyoming. So, the rest of us were camping in Teton National Park then. The problem was that there was a bear citing of a Grizzly that had torn up a nearby campsite and we had already packed our gear in several miles to our campsite not to far from the campsite that was torn up so the Rangers were evacuating people in case the Grizzly came there.  So, I sent my wife and two daughters ahead back to our Camper Van several miles away while my son then about 15 years old then broke camp so they could be safe while we gathered up everything and packed it back to the car. We didn't see the Grizzly. However, then came by a Moose which was a teenager and I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall and the top of my head didn't even reach the teenage Moose's shoulder. He walked by us about a foot or two away from us which made us both very uncomfortable but at least we didn't have to deal with the Grizzly Bear harrassing nearby campers.
