The most likely thing that will happen to him is that he likely will die of old age in the next 5 or 10 years.
However, he shows signs of mental and physical decline now every day. So, as he pushes himself each day could be his last. Also, his purple stuff on his hands is likely caused by Eliquis which is a blood thinner that I take too. And when you take it you have to be aware that if you get cut you might bleed out if the cut is too large. But, internal bleeding can also be a problem if you fall down, especially in your brain or heart or in other internal organs which might cause you to die.
So, taking something like Eliquis keeps you alive from preventing Heart Attacks and Strokes caused by Blood Clots. However, you have to also be careful not to bleed out externally or internally from cuts or falls.
for example, they wanted to operate on me January 4th in the Emergency Room. However, because I was taking Eliquis they decided to wait 4 days while I didn't take it anymore so I stopped taking it for 4 days. However, by the time 4 days was up my bowels had started moving again so I really didn't need emergency surgery anymore.
So, Eliquis can prevent emergency surgery for up to 4 days too. So, if you absolutely had to have an emergency surgery you might bleed out and die on the operating table if you are taking Eliquis right then.
So, remember you need to wait at least 3 to 4 days after you stop taking it before you have ANY surgery at all internally or externally.
