Why?
Because of what I call "Hand Grenade Drones" which pick off soldiers one by one and blow them up by flying into soldiers day or night using night vision at around 100 miles per hour or more. many men (especially Russian Soldiers or Mercenaries from around the world working for Russia in Ukraine are blowing up one by one or in groups now 24 hours a day to the tune of 30,000 of these soldiers every month ongoing.
The ONLY way to protect armies of soldiers would be in armored personnel Carriers or bunkers under the ground or by Netting in Trees and around vehicles to stop these drones before they hit the soldiers but I can see even the netting to stop the drones doesn't stop them from blowing up and sending fragmentation for 100s of feet in all directions either right through the netting.
So, armies on battlefields are now obsolete in warfare completely now at least in the Western Technological world and in all Developed nations technologically.
