When I look at the world now there is a level of uncertainty and chaos to it that I haven't seen since the Bay of Pigs, The Cuban Missile Crisis and 2001 in 9-11. Everything is sort of speeded up now while some people in the world are still living in the stone age and others are living at least 500 years into the future of those.
Looking around you see the seeds of change everywhere. Big store chains closing one by one because online companies like Amazon and others have driven them out of business. If you can buy something and have it shipped to you for free "Amazon Prime" at less than half the cost of getting in your car and going to a mall what are you going to do?
You might like visiting the mall and shopping there (as long as gangs aren't there mugging people when you are there). But, mostly it is safer just to buy online isn't it?
So, we are watching malls get smaller and smaller and more big box stores go under that at least don't try to go online and compete with places like Amazon which now sells almost anything including food online with free shipping right to your door.
This is in some ways just a small part of the changes we all are seeing. Most of the changes, however, are "under the hood" and unseen. So, this makes us all more and more uneasy every day.
Because what is the future bringing to us?
If we went back to 1900 before the Wright brothers I think we are more likely to see the level of changes coming in this century too. 90% of people in 1900 didn't think heavier than air aircraft was possible.
Now many people don't think C3PO is possible but that is very soon too here on earth. IN other words a robot that speaks and reads every language on earth as a translator to travel with you is possible right now here on earth.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
