So, today was an interesting day any way you look at it. First my son wanted to get his sons phone working as he was too sick to do this before so we went to our mobile Phone carrier to turn on his sons phone and his son's number as his sons old phone got destroyed in an accident. After this it was misting pretty good and at some point I realized that the rental car had a nail or screw in the front tire. So, I took it back to the rental car place and they said they would normally just give me a different car but because of the weekend they didn't have enough cars to replace mine. So, my son thought we should take it to a tire center with a connection to the rental Car company. However, when I got there they told me because it was 2 hours before they could do this. My son who is just out of the hospital recently is still building his strength so then we went to Jiffy Lube who he had called about this. However, when we got there they said their mechanic was off for the weekend so they couldn't fix the rental tire front tire. However, they offered to check the pressure and they said the pressure was fine so it likely wasn't leaking air at all. I had vibed not to go up to Mt. Hood to Timberline Lodge like I like to do as I used to ski up there with my daughter and her old boyfriend about 10 years ago.
So, my intuition about not taking the car up to Mt. Hood and Timberline Lodge was right on the money as usual. I like being this intuitive most of the time about things because it saves my life and other's lives all the time.

So, I have a lot of good memories staying at the classic Timberline Lodge where I stayed one time where it snowed about 5 feet in two days with the snow grooming equipment working 24 hours a day manicuring the snow for skiers which was quite an experience when the room we were staying in got so much snow that you could no longer see out of the window at all at one point. So, I think I got us another room higher up so we could still see out because it was too claustrophobic not being able to see out of our hotel window at least for me. So, then we got a 2nd or 3rd story room and this was great except for the 24 hour a day noise of snow grooming equipment outside out window across the parking lot. But, 5 feet of snow in 2 days there was Epic too at 6000 feet elevation outside at Timberline Lodge built in the 1930s. A really classic place!
