Questions

I was thinking just now about all the questions we ask during our lives.

However, it really is less about the questions than it is finding the answers.

But, if you have ever been to college you likely know that formulating the important questions leads you to success of various kinds in your lives.

So, in the spirit of the college try here goes in ferreting out some of the questions:

What am I?

Where Am I?

Who Am I? (this is a really tricky one) (there is no right or even correct answer) unless maybe it's
"I AM!"

Then:

Who made me?

And why?

Where Am I going?

Where have I been?

Is time and space Real?

Or is it just another illusion?

Do any of these questions really matter?

Okay now what if I try to answer some of these questions just for me:

What am I?

I have the appearance of being an Earth Born Human

Where Am I?

I appear to be living on Planet Earth in the U.S. and in the state of California at present even though I was born in Washington.

Who Am I? (this is a really tricky one) (there is no right or even correct answer) unless maybe it's
"I AM!"

There are many answers to this question simply because time and space likely isn't very real but more like rules of a a serious game.

Then:

Who made me?

God, the Creators, or I was made through various processes and made of Star Dust like all planets and Stars.

And why?

Why denotes that someone consciously created me. It's likely that there was conscious creation of my soul and possibly conscious creation (not just mating) of my body too.

Where Am I going?

Where I am going is only important if  I AM  sure time and space is real.

Where have I been?

Same answer as before. Where I have been is only important if time and space has been real.

Is time and space Real?

Does not really appear to be part of any ultimate reality. Only Being and maybe Non-Being appears to be real. Others might have a different position on the subject.

Or is it just another illusion?

Same answer.

Do any of these questions really matter?

Yes and No.

It depends upon what value one gives to these questions in any and all moments.

Is life therefor a paradox?

Since the universe is definitely a paradox life might also be a paradox too.

And if it is a paradox then encompassing paradoxes is a necessary component to be able to understand it without going mad and just jumping off a cliff because of it.

This is one reason why really intelligent people tend to commit suicide and people with just common sense usually don't.

When I asked God what the purpose of life was he said, "The purpose of life is to love and Bless life".

When I thought about this it made sense.

He also said that to kill another being was like cutting off one of the other fingers of God. And that each of us are like the fingers of God here on the Earth.

It took me about 2 weeks or more to recover from this experience and I shook for two days after this.

But, then once I reoriented to what God and the universe were about I felt at peace once again.

But, I was in my early 20s then and now I'm 66 and a grandfather and father of 3 children, 2 stepchildren and 2 God Daughters.

But, God also answered my most important questions so this was good for me and my children and my grandchildren.

Questions, answers about NJ traffic jam

Questions, answers about NJ traffic jam

(Mel Evans/ Associated Press ) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie gestures during a news conference Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at the Statehouse in Trenton, N.J. Christie has fired a top aide who engineered political payback against a town mayor, saying she lied. Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Anne Kelly is the latest casualty in a widening scandal that threatens to upend Christie’s second term and likely run for president in 2016. Documents show she arranged traffic jams to punish the mayor, who didn’t endorse Christie for re-election.
TRENTON, N.J. — News has been moving quickly on several fronts in New Jersey after newly revealed documents suggested that lanes on the approach to the George Washington Bridge were closed for political reasons.
Here are some answers to questions about scandal and its fallout:

___
Q: How did this start?
A: For four days in September, two of the three approach lanes from Fort Lee to the George Washington Bridge — one of the world’s busiest spans — were closed, causing massive gridlock on the town’s streets, delaying emergency vehicles, school buses and commuters.
There had been suggestions for months that the closure was done to punish the town’s mayor — a Democrat — for his refusal to endorse Republican Gov. Chris Christie for re-election. Copies of emails and text messages obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press and other media organizations showed that was apparently what happened.
___
Q. What did the emails and texts show?
A. Perhaps the most damning was an August email from Christie’s deputy chief of staff, Bridget Anne Kelly, to Port Authority of New York and New Jersey official Bill Wildstein declaring, “Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.” His response: “Got it.” Other Christie administration officials and appointees were named or were part of some exchanges.
___
Q. What is the Port Authority?
A. It’s the agency that runs the New York City area airports, the PATH commuter train and bridges and tunnels connecting New Jersey and New York, as well as the World Trade Center. Its board and top staff are among the most plum political appointments available to the governors of New York and New Jersey.
___
Q: Who has lost their jobs in the flap?
A: Two Christie Port Authority appointees — Wildstein and deputy director Bill Baroni — resigned last month.
On Thursday, Christie fired Kelly. He also announced Bill Stepien, his former campaign manager, was ordered to end his bid to be state GOP chairman. Christie had previously nominated Stepien to that role. Stepien is also losing his contract as a consultant with the Republican Governors Association, which Christie chairs.
___
Q: Are there investigations into what happened?
A: Yes, at least three of them.
U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said Thursday that he’s looking into whether any laws were broken. The Port Authority’s inspector general is also investigating.
The state Assembly’s Transportation Committee has also been investigating and subpoenaed emails from 7 people at the Port Authority, including Wildstein and Baroni. The committee held a hearing Thursday and called Wildstein to testify. Wildstein appeared but refused to answer questions at his lawyer’s advice. He was accused of contempt, charges a prosecutor could pursue.
___
Q: How were the closures initially explained?
A: In November, after lawmakers raised questions, Baroni said the closures were part of a traffic study. The results of the supposed study were never released, but Baroni provided lawmakers with some data about travel times.
___
Q: What did Christie know about what happened?
A: The emails didn’t directly implicate Christie in the shutdown. Christie said he learned Wednesday from news reports that the lanes were closed for political reasons. He said he previously had asked staff members repeatedly if they had been involved and they said they had not.
He said Thursday that he was still unclear about what happened. He said he doesn’t know if it was a “rogue political operation that morphed into a traffic study” or if it was the other way around.
___
Q: Will Christie probe the matter further?
A: He said in an apologetic news conference that lasted nearly two hours on Thursday that he did not plan his own investigation so as not to interfere with the others underway.
___
Q: What does this mean for the political future for Christie, a Republican star who is considered a possible 2016 presidential contender?
A: Some political observers and operatives believe his political career will not be ended by it. But the flap does give opponents a line of attack, portraying him as deeply partisan and vindictive — exactly the opposite of the image he has sought to project of a pragmatic bipartisan willing to make principled compromises.
___
Q: Will the governor’s apologies satisfy his political opponents?
A: That’s unlikely. John Wisniewski, the Democrat who is chairman of the state Assembly Transportation Committee says he has additional questions about whether Christie knew about the lane closures. “I think it strains credibility of an administration that’s very hands-on,” he said.

Questions

I found in college that forming useful questions is always more important than the answers that you get. Without useful questions no life is lived to the fullest but many times just ends in despair. So, in the interest of everyone's survival on earth I'm asking these questions:

Why is the world in such a mess right now? As recently as the 1990s things were never better and our government here in the U.S. had a surplus of money on board.

Why are people accusing Bernanke of Treason? Though the average person might not understand this, without devaluing the dollar or raising taxes or both our nation will turn into a banana republic the way things now stand. The Bush Tax cuts combined with Iraq and Afghanistan Wars have bankrupted our nation.

How high will food prices go? The answer unfortunately is there is no limit to how high food prices will go. The answer for anyone who has a windowsill or land to grow food on is: Start growing your own food before you starve. And start figuring out how to recycle your water if there is a drought where you live. One way is through a solar distiller using clear or black plastic to recycle water. Take the plastic and put it above the water in the sun and make it be an angle so the pure water can condense upon the plastic and run down into some kind of container. Use the heat of the sun so you have water to drink at least.

What is REALLY done with the 500 billion dollars a years spent on defense? We don't really have an enemy outside of ourselves. I presently believe the terrorist wars were for the most part fund raisers done by people in the intelligence community trying not to lose their jobs and the whole thing got so out of hand that both world propaganda and the military industrial complex got on the band wagon. Just watch the movie "Wag the Dog" and you will see what the last 10 years has really been about.

Why is the price of Gold going up like it is? Is it really the debt ceiling problem which is a completely manufactured political problem caused by Republicans being racist and wanting to get rid of a black president? Do Republicans really think that politics is more important than the survival of our nation economically? Obviously, some really do. It's almost like they are saying "It is better that our country doesn't exist at all if we are going to  have a black president." This unfortunately is my present opinion on this in regard to some Republicans. So in this one sense these kinds of Republicans demonstrate they are anti-U.S. and therefore in a real sense demonstrate that they might be considered "enemies of the state" because they are acting to destroy the U.S. as a way of electing a Republican (any Republican). However, this kind of thinking is just so ideological and non-pragmatic and non-practical in any way, shape or form as to be considered and rightly so, Insane and self defeating and self destructive for us as a nation.

Why do we allow China to devalue their currency? No other nation is allowed to do this. And by allowing them to continue devaluing  we steal the jobs of our people and all people in the western World. Until the Western world either forces China to raise the value of their currency to what it is actually worth, millions and millions more jobs in the Western world and all around the world will be lost DIRECTLY because of this one factor.

However, on another level there is a paradox here. The paradox is that any nation that is serious about surviving right now is seriously struggling to devalue their currencies including the United States and many countries in Europe. So when the Governor of Texas, Perry, says that Bernanke is guilty of treason in printing money, it is more like Rick Perry of Texas is guilty of Treason by saying this because only nations that devalue their currency in the present world climate will survive.

Alcoholism and drug addiction are problems but so is Computer addiction and in specific computer Games and gaming. What happens when people young or old worldwide simply say to themselves, "The world is so bad off I'm just going to go play a video game and live in a fantasy world?" What happens then when millions and billions of people who could potentially solve all the problems of the world just decide to escape into video games and solve their problems just in fantasy?

These are just some of the questions that I have. I'm sure others of you have questions too. Blog your questions because if you can at least formulate what is bothering you then maybe someone else has a real world solution for you and for the world that can be implemented! If you can't even ask the right questions then how do you expect to survive all this?
