GOP may pay price for shutdown for Decades to Come

The problem as I see it is the percentage of people who are Republicans is reducing every Presidential election because of growing ethnic diversity in the U.S. Since the Republican party has always been "Of the white people, by the white people and for the white people" since I was born and before. And since white people are becoming a smaller and smaller slice of the U.S. every single election, in theory it is now statistically impossible for a Republican to ever be elected to the Presidency ever again. This is why the GOP is reaching out to Hispanics to get their votes too.
