There are presently 3 scandals that the Obama Administration is dealing with. Hopefully they all will be tempests in teapots in the end. If you were young enough during the Clinton Administration by now Monica Lewinsky and Clinton likely did their thing which was the only thing the special prosecutors got out of Clinton was the Lewinsky scandal. Now, in the second 4 years of Obama it is other things. Every Democratic and Republican president seems to have trouble in his second term. I think in the first term everyone is getting used to them. But by the second term no matter who the president is people are starting to itch for change no matter what that is. This is one reason why I usually like a Democrat for 8 years and then a Republican for 8 years. The problem is that the Democrats tend to do some things right and the Republicans tend to do some things right. But, either one if they stay in for more than 8 years tend to really screw up our nation. This is just my observation since I was about 4 in 1952. 8 years is the maximum for any president before they just screw things up so bad we need to elect someone else.
Maybe that is why our democracy in a republic actually works: dynamic tension always. Maybe it's just about creating the right balance for our nation to go on surviving on into the future.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
