I was talking to my God daughter who is in her late 20s and very successful (probably the most successful young person under 30 that I know) who has made it on her own for the most part.
She was telling me about the movie "Idiocracy" and telling me because of white people declining in population in the U.S. which is where the U.S. is right now with a declining white population at present. I basically thought this was an elitists perspective and as a world traveler now most of my life I have noticed that cultures aren't smarter or dumber than each other but rather have different priorities. I find all countries equally intelligent but with different priorities which they have found in that country works best.
But, at present white people in the U.S. are crestfallen because the "glory days" of 1950 until 2001 are over possibly permanently. And this has caused a great malaise psychologically to set into the U.S.'s white population. And so as a direct result not getting married and not having children is one of the results of this malaise. So more old white people are dying than they are being replaced by young white people having children.
For example, for white Americans and Europeans priorities might be education, and financial independence while living with room mates or living alone or just with their spouse or significant other.
However, priorities in other nations might be quite different. IN most nations family is the first priority and not whether you go to college or not or have an individual career or not. So, a point of view where "White priorities" are might be considered a complete luxury and only available in Europe, the U.S. and parts of China, Japan and various other developed countries around the world.
So, since family is a very low priority for most white people and the pride and status of a good well paying career after graduating from college is the biggest priority young white people are NOT getting married and having kids often until their 30s or 40s and even then they might only have one child that hopefully survives from having kids after 40 years of age.
So, the U.S. is having to adjust to lower economic expectations and "doing more with less" and becoming more efficient and adjusting to all the changes. I think we will all succeed at this but it will take some time (maybe another 10 or 20 years of experimenting with what works in this present global dynamic).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
