Glastonbury, England

My experience of Glastonbury England as an intuitive was that I felt it about 20 to 30 miles away before I got there. It was an amazing clarity of thought and spirit that one feels there. People often feel a similar way to being in the Mt. Shasta Area too. In Fact, often Tibetan Lamas and other spiritual teachers around the world will send their students to Mt. Shasta because it is an easier trip to Mt. Shasta for most people rather than to go to Mt. Kailash in the Himalayas and they both have a very empowering energy about them.

Today my daughter wanted a case or two for some of her crystals so they wouldn't drop and break out side of a case or two. So, we were shopping there and gentleman said in an English Accent, "This is the most amazing shop of it's kind I have ever seen anywhere on earth."

He seemed a very amiable sort of chap so my daughter and I struck up a conversation with him and were happy to discover that his spiritual home is Glastonbury, England and my daughter and I had been there in 2011 with her boyfriend and my wife and younger daughter in the fall. So, he wanted to know the sacred spots here in Mt. Shasta so we showed him what we thought might be helpful including the headwaters of the Sacramento that comes out of the ground through lava tubes out from the Mountain at the City park. Also, people get water to drink from this source because it hasn't been contaminated anywhere yet by being out in the open for animals to defecate into or people to mess with until it comes right there out of the ground. So, it is a pure source straight from the snows filtered through lava rocks and lava tubes to that point where the headwaters of the Sacramento river begin. He mentioned he was meeting some people and picking them up at the Redding Airport from Europe and South America who were attending the conference this weekend too.

If you want to get to Mt. Shasta by Air and then rent a car the best way would be to fly into Redding, California from around the world.

But, we are experiencing the worst drought in about 100 years so you might want to come here by mid July or the end of July at the latest because I think all the snow will be melted off Mt. Shasta by the end of July or before so that might reduce the waters in streams and rivers and brooks too by that time of year because of the drought. However, water will still be in all the lakes and ponds because that is usually there year around even though Shasta Dam and Shasta Lake above it is a power generating station that operates year around so water is always going out of there and it is low this year too which is near Redding.

The gentleman we met said that Glastonbury was his spiritual home on earth but that he travels a lot now and just returned from spending 2 weeks in a retreat in the dark in Thailand (without light) sort of like a Vipassana without light which is a sensory deprivation meditative type experience. It isn't for everyone however, because I have met people who tried to do 4 months and instead just really freaked out at one point or another. So, like I said it isn't for everyone.

He was speaking about going surfing in Indonesia and having had a really great time there too on his way to this conference in Mt. Shasta with attendees from all over the world.
