Tactical Nuclear Weapons

The Real problem with groups like ISIL is that you are going to likely see not only drones used on them but also drones with tactical nuclear weapons begin to be used.

Groups as brutal as ISIL likely are going to be viewed as subhuman much like Americans viewed the extremist elements of Tojos Japanese Army in Japan. Only because Truman didn't want to lose another 1 million American men taking Japan did the U.S. first firebomb so many Japanese cities then finally as a desperate last resort nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Likewise, with groups like ISIL and Boko Haram I think you will see more extreme weapons used by at present Iran's Revolutionary guards on ISIL. So, LIkely you might see something like chemical weapons used secretly on whole cities.

When any group is as brutal as ISIL is they will not be considered human by the rest of the world. Therefore ANY measures will be used against them. They will not be considered an army but only something to be exterminated completely along with any areas they control.

And many things likely like Chemical weapons and tactical nukes if used wouldn't even be reported in the news for a variety of reasons. Also, I think you might see things like cluster bombs used as well.

When warfare becomes ultimately insane like the direction ISIL has now taken it, there will be no limit by more civilized nations of the methods they now will use against ISIL to exterminate ISIL

Though individuals from places like Saudi Arabia might have financed ISIL originally, it might give them pause to see what happens next. Though their original intention was to get rid of ASSAD the actuality of ISIL might eliminate the governments of Iran, and Saudi Arabia within the next 10 years or so.

Under these conditions it seems obvious that Syia, Iraq, and Yemen are all moving towards being completely failed states. But, in their wake ISIL might also make Iran and Saudi Arabia and other middle Eastern nations failed states too.

This is like I have predicted before here at this site that by Putin doing what he did and is doing to Syria and Ukraine is completely destabilizing the Middle East and all it's governments in both the short and the long term. Hopefully, what is happening in Ukraine has been slowed down or stopped completely. Time will tell.
