Whether is is a fundamentalist religion: any one
or it is a fundamentalist atheist
or a fundamentalist scientist or you name it.
The problem often is this type of point of view causes deaths.
For example, a fundamentalist is basically saying. "I live by the letter of the law whatever it is."
So, if anyone breaks that law (no matter how great or small) this person should die.
Whenever you narrow a set of rules for people this much about 50% of the people are going to either be put to death or shunned in such a way that you might as well have killed them anyhow in the first place. Because the effects in the end are the same.
When I discovered this about the truth (any truth) I realized that compassion was the superior path. Because truth kills 50% of the time.
But, compassion is like a mother nurturing all her children in the universe.
So, the real trick then is to move beyond Idiot compassion to:
Right Mindful Efficient Compassion in every single moment of each person's life.
Sort of like making each moment a Zen moment of ultimately efficient compassion towards all life in the universe including oneself.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
