105 in Redding at 6 pm today
Tomorrow it is supposed to be 109 there and 107 on Saturday. However, I'm thinking likely this will be the last temperatures above 105 there for this year. But, i could be wrong too. It's presently still around 92 in Mt. Shasta and 100 in Las Vegas right now at approximately 6:30 pm pacfic time. where I live it is in the high 70s so it is nice to be near the ocean right about now. Also, most people around here don't have air conditioners because temperatures above the 80s usually don't last for more than a day if then each year. So, that's one reason why people like to live here on the coast even though it can be foggy May through July or even into August most years. High or low fog when it gets hot inland really keeps the temperatures down on the coast of Northern California in the summers.
