13th Warrior (1999)

  1.  You might not want to read my commentary before you see the movie if you haven't seen it yet. There appears to be a way to watch it online if you click the picture above where it says 1:42:46 to see the whole movie if you are interested. Remember don't read the rest of my commentary if you want to watch this movie and haven't yet.

  1.  This is actually based upon a true story written down in Arabic by the character Antonio Banderas plays. It would be interesting to read a direct from Arabic to English Translation of the actual events. It appears they were fighting Neaderthals in Norse country who thought they were bears worshipping mother totems.

    As I read further even though 13th Warrior is based upon a real person "13th Warrior" itself was written by Michael Crighton as The 13th Warrior is a 1999 American historical fiction action film based on the novel Eaters of the Dead by Michael Crichton[4] and is a loose retelling of the tale of Beowulf.

    This is a very entertaining movie and the subject matter regarding Neanderthals thinking they were bears is really interesting. However, the highest concentration of Neanderthal blood now days is in certain sections of France and a few other countries  now. I think the highest percentage of Neanderthal blood now is about 6%. But people who have it often have really incredible immune systems.
