If you presently don't believe in Climate change even when the North Pole melted out for the first time in at least 100,000 years or more likely 1,000,000 years then people might just suspect you are someone ready to step in front of a 70 mph bus on a street. (in other words people are going to suspect you are not long for this world either way).
In the 1970s many many people didn't believe in Climate change either but most of those are dead now. Now, most people believe in Climate change and suspect that those who don't believe in Climate change are going to be dead from climate change real soon. They might be right at this point.
