Tour Groups come to Mt. Shasta from all over the world

Worldwide Mt. Shasta is considered a "Sacred Mountain". It is the "Mt. Kailash" of the U.S. along with mountains like the "Tetons" in Teton National Park in Wyoming and others. Of course then there are sacred mountains of Individual tribes of Native Americans throughout the 50 states and there are at least 6 Native American Tribes just in the Mt. Shasta area that have called Mt. Shasta sacred for thousands of  years already. IF you are an intuitive you will begin to feel it as you drive towards it from Redding or before or from Ashland, Oregon or before or from whichever other direction you are coming to it from. Another point I remember like this is Glastonbury, England where Arthur and Guinevere are reported to be buried. Before King Henry VIII came to power it was the most profitable Catholic Abbey in all of England because people were enraptured by all the tales of Camelot when Glastonbury Tor was an island in the middle of a lake (it's surrounded by farmland now).

So, people travel all over to these completely magical places to connect with God and Spirit and to recharge their batteries to go out into the world once again to earn their living.

I have met people from tour groups visiting Mt. Shasta from Sweden, Norway, Germany, Shanghai, Tokyo and Taiwan. It is always amazing to meet people who love this mountain and who feel completely empowered by it from all over the world. For some, it is like plugging into a wall socket to meet God personally, (or Buddha) depending upon your belief systems.
