What I mean by this is that often a dyslexic isn't limited by linear thought. This can be confusing to the average person who is a linear thinker. However, often the advantage to being dyslexic is you are usually more intelligent than the average person but not necessarily in a linear sort of way. So, this often is more difficult to translate this advantage out to the world and into your life.
Often dyslexics are shamed in public school which doesn't do anything but piss them off especially if they are boys. So, shaming a dyslexic boy in a public school you might only be creating a rebel or juvenile delinquent. Shaming only works on linear thinkers most of the time but never with dyslexics. In fact, people thought Einstein was mentally retarded until he was about 10 years of age because he thought so differently than most people. However, at this point he shot ahead in math and science far beyond everyone else.
My son was like this too growing up. I found out when my mother was in her 80s she finally told me that she and her mother were dyslexic. But, while she was growing up this was something to be ashamed of so no one spoke of things like this. Her mother who was born in 1888 was taken out of school at age 8 to raise the rest of her siblings and was never sent back to school ever. So, you can see how this caused her never to work in her life outside her home and raising her three daughters. My mother was more lucky and worked outside the home to support her mother full time from age 18 until she met my father and married at age 27.
But now, we have a lot of people like Einstein that were not "Linear limited" in their thinking but capable of "Quantum level thought".
The best way I can express this is a linear thinker goes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
But, a dyslexic thinker might go 1, 1000, 10,000, 1,000,000 and 1billion and they would be right because often they are capable of intuitive common sense jumps that astound others.
For example, my present belief is that Einstein was able to figure out the speed of light by visualizing himself on a beam of light traveling through the galaxy. Being both a physicist and a mathematician he was able to create E equals MC squared by actually riding a beam of light in his mind.
But, from my point of view this is what I call "Soul Travel" which from my point of view this is "Actually riding a beam of light" in your soul body. So, if he did it this way it makes complete sense to me.
So, this is what I mean by a dyslexic can sometimes get quickly to places where linear thinkers often cannot.
So, dyslexics for these reasons and many others are valuable members of the human community here on earth ongoing.
Because often they can make these astounding intuitive jumps and be right.
I find because I was raised by my mother and grandmother that I can think in this dyslexic intuitive way or I can think as a linear thinker too. I'm not dyslexic but somehow being raised around 2 dyslexics and then my father who was a linear non-dyslexic thinker who was valedictorian of his High School Class it gave me tremendous advantages over most other people in navigating my life in being able to successfully think both ways at the same time. My best friend is also like me who is a linear thinker capable of advanced intuitive thought as well. His mother was dyslexic and also his older brother and like me, his father was a linear thinker.
