Senator Susan Collins Bill sounds interesting

Her Bill before the Senate appears to only deal with people on the no fly list(which is around 100,000 people specifically) and about 22,000 of them are Americans. The rest might be Green Carders or Foreign nationals on tourist visas.

Her Bill insists that all these people have the right to Due Process, which means that if the government tries to take away their right to fly or to buy a weapon the government must allow them to go to court and if the government does not allow them to go to court the government defaults within a reasonable period of time and his to pay the people's court costs for their lawyers and the court etc.

This Bill solves the problem of Due Process not only in regard to being on a No Fly List (which has gone wanting for this for some time now) and also addresses due process in regard to being able to buying a gun.

This Bill makes more sense than any other Bill trying to protect citizens from Crazies or terrorists (same thing) that I have heard about so far.

Also, no fly lists are notorious for accidentally including Congress members and babies and other people that could not possibly be a threat to these lists. But, without due process no one but likely a Congressman or woman could clear themselves off of a no fly list even if their reason for being on this list is completely accidental and ridiculous.

So, this Bill might solve the Citizen's Human rights problem, the Due process problem, while also addressing the safety of the American people both while flying and in regard to the right to buy weapons, and the right of Americans not to be harmed, all at the same time.
