When I think about this it is because when you take being Republican to it's extreme in Conservatism you wind up with Fascism like Hitler.
And when you take being Democratic to it's Liberal Extreme you wind up with Socialism and possibly even Communism when taken to it's extreme.
So, it isn't surprising that a Fascist like Trump would sometimes get votes from Republicans in desperate times.
And it isn't surprising that someone who thought the Soviet Union was a great place as a young man, Sanders would run as a Democratic Socialist also in desperate times here in the U.S. either.
Because this is what brings out the extremes from Americans, desperate times.
Everyone knows in the Middle and lower Classes that they are all losing ground economically, so it makes sense that both parties would go to their extremes in reacting to desperate times. So, that Hillary is the status quo and Trump and Sanders are the Republicans and Democrats freaking out because the middle Class and poor are losing Ground since at a 2000 or 2001 when 9-11 happened.
So, Hillary makes sense if this were the 1990s like her husband Bill did.
However, nothing makes sense in these times because all the normal rules of life are gone (at least for now).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
