The Dallas Killer never saw the robot or the C-4

It was described on Anderson Cooper exactly what happened. The killer was standing next to a cement block wall. They put a pound of C-4 in the claw hand of the robot the other side of the cement block wall with re-bar inside of it. So, when the C-4 went off it was about 1 foot or so away from the gunman. When the C-4 went off it shot (from the explosion) as the wall exploded thousands of pieces of cement block through the body of the shooter all at once. So, the shooter never saw the robot, he never saw the C-4 he only was blown into pieces by thousands of pieces of cement during the explosion as the wall came through him from the other side of the wall from where he was.

They did a demonstration of the explosion of the cement block wall with a pound of C-4 before the camera so people could get an idea of what actually happened there. It likely blew a hole at least 4 to 6 feet in diameter through the wall with pieces landing a football field length away from where it went through the wall.

So, no nails, bullets or other types of fragmentation were needed because the cement blocks themselves WERE the fragmentation that actually killed the shooter. So, all they needed was a ball or square of C-4 held in the hand of the robot to do this. The claw hand was damaged but otherwise the robot was not damaged. So, likely all they would have to do is to replace the claw hand and that's all to use it again for any purpose they might think of including bomb disposal.

Later:

I was wondering how they could locate him so precisely from the other side of a block wall using a robot. It occurred to me that one way to do this would be through his cell phone GPS. If the Robot has GPS (which many would) you could locate him through his cell phone GPS within 3 feet. Then the robot (from the other side of the wall would move as close to that location as possible before setting off the C-4 and blowing a hole 4 to 6 feet in diameter through the wall sending thousands of fragments of Cement Block up to the length of a football field away from that location.
