Don't underestimate what Assad's murders of innocent women and children are doing to the minds and hearts of 1.6 billion Sunni Muslims worldwide. The is not the end for them. This is only the beginning of revenge taking back upon Assad and Iran for what is happening to Sunni Muslims in Syria and Iraq.
Most people escaping to Turkey and Europe (The millions and millions) are Sunni Muslims who are the majority of people in Syria. In Iraq they are a minority but in syria they are the majority. So, imagine living in a country where the people who are the majority are being killed and driven out by the government, in this case Assad.
It really messes with the mentality of Americans because we believe in Majority rule. The opposite thing happened the last 15 years in Iraq where Shia Muslims are the numerical majority. When Saddam Hussein was driven out by the Americans, Sunni Muslims through Saddam Hussein were driven out of power there and now Shia Muslims who are the Majority people in IRaq now rule in their place which is what caused ISIS to form in the first place along with what happened to Sunni Muslims in Syria.
ISIS was always a completely extreme reaction of Sunni Muslims to being driven from power in Iraq and driven from their homes and killed in Syria.
So, what we are presently seeing in Aleppo is 1.6 billion Sunni Muslims slow motion Pearl Harbor and a call to arms.
How the 1.6 billion Sunni Muslims respond to the ongoing atrocities in Aleppo and throughout Syria is unknown. The only thing for sure is that this will happen. Whether this is organized by Sunni Muslim nations like Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the rest or whether this will be orchestrated by terrorist organizations like ISIS and Al Qaeda who support Sunni Causes is hard to say.
But, it is likely all these things will happen in time as Sunni Anger boils over into actions against all Shia Muslims worldwide as time goes forward.
This is also another reason why both Saudi Arabia and Iran might already have nuclear weapons. If they didn't I'm pretty sure we would have seen an invasion of either Iran or Saudi Arabia already by opposing forces.
It is also why Turkey is turning into something like Saddam Hussein's Iraq because Turkey is preparing for outright war with Iran and Syria over time. This is why Democracy has ended in Turkey.
For the western world, this is even more scary and likely will result in the expulsion of Turkey from the European Union and from NATO because neither wants to go to war with Iran because of Turkey.
