Note: if you haven't seen Endgame already don't read any of this because there is a spoiler in it I realized.
Go watch Avengers Endgame. You are watching a Technological singularity. Phase one Thanos kills half of the life in the universe. Phase Two, The Avengers go back in time and change it. Phase 3: Who knows? Phase 4 Who knows? Phase 5 who knows? Etc. into infinity.
Once you have artificial intelligence set loose upon earth as it already is through supercomputers and military drones who are self actuating, there is no way to stop what might come.
Did you notice how Iron Man found the key to time travel? He did it through his artificially intelligent supercomputers that built a theoretical holographic image for him. Him finding the key to successful time travel was speeded up hundreds of years by his supercomputer combined with artificial intelligence programming. Multiply this by thousands and millions of scientists around the world and what do you get?
Something that 99% of the human race will never likely fully understand. And if they cannot understand it they are vulnerable (as in maiming or death or insanity or becoming temporarily or permanently dysfunctional because of it).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
