A friend of mine said this is also sort of ridiculous because the Attorney General is the one who would handle this sort of prosecution and Barr cannot prosecute himself. Therefore Rosenstein likely would have to prosecute Barr once Barr Recused himself because he is the plaintiff. However, it also might be possible (given Barr's position on things) to have him not recuse himself putting both himself and Trump above the law here. Then this likely would have to be settled (By the Supreme Court?) or no one. Or our nation would be irrevocably harmed regarding Rule of law ever after.
