No other leader is so narcissistic that he sacrificed the well being of the nation for his own vanity.
What comes to mind is: the Story of "The Emperor's new clothes" where the emperor was just so vain that he wouldn't admit he was naked because only "good people" could see his clothes. The same is true of Trump. Anything he doesn't like he is like an Ostrich burying his head in the sand.
I wonder how many kings through the ages were like Trump with psychological problems that ran so deep that their nations were lost along with all their people from their narcissism or other psychological problems?
There is something wrong with our system of governance that someone so obviously psychologically flawed can survive this long as president. In a parliamentary form of government his government would have collapsed the first year in Europe to be replaced by someone else by now. There would already have been a "no confidence" vote like you see in Great Britain and other European countries all the time by now.
Only in a democracy like the U.S. could we STILL have to deal with Trump destroying everything year after year until there is nothing left of value to our democracy in a Republic.
