For example, as an independent I cannot support Sanders policies because they would be bad in the opposite kind of way that Trump's policies are now. We need someone sane this time and Sanders is the opposite kind of crazy as Trump.
I can support Biden and might support Buttigieg but don't think Buttigieg, Warren or Sanders can win against Trump in the end.
So, for example, if Sanders wins the Democratic Nomination I know it's a shoe in for Trump because Sanders simply won't win in a national election for President because he ONLY has the white progressive Vote and none of the other demographics. We are a very very diverse nation and it is a great mistake to have Sanders as the Democratic Nominee because there is no way he can win. And even if he did win we would become for sure a Banana Republic whether Trump wins or Sanders won. The end result would be the same. (A disaster for our American Democracy).
