Like South Korea (which has faired the best) along with Japan which has also minimized deaths the most too. South Korea never shut down their schools or businesses and instead just tested everyone to quarantine people who were carrying it. VERY WISE.
So, who is in trouble? All the people who aren't testing enough and don't wear masks.
The masks are NOT for the people afraid of getting it. the masks are for the carriers who don't know that they are carriers by the way. When Carriers wear masks the prevent the spread from their coughing is is a powerful polite social courtesy to protect others from getting coronavirus and dying.
So, we see our rugged individualism is getting Americans killed at a higher rate than group thinking Chinese, South Koreans and Japanese who have pretty much brought coronavirus under control at this point.
The main reason New York City is epicenter is the subway and public transportation in general. You cannot use public transportation anywhere and not get coronavirus sooner or later basically at this point here in the U.S. or likely Europe either. Public transportation right now is death by coronavirus in the U.S. and Europe!
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
