Why?
First of all, I also have a 60 inch flat screen in the Living room of my house. So, instead of investing in going to a movie theater instead I have invested more in cable and streaming for my house instead.
Why?
Because I'm 73 and I no longer EVER eat inside any restaurant or go inside any theater or if I go into a market to shop I wear a KN-95 mask which filters out 95% of all particulates while I'm inside there. Plus I live in California which has the lowest per capita incidences of Covid than any other state of the 50 states.
So, I don't go inside of theaters just so I can stay well. The other thing I haven't done since December of 1999 is fly on any passenger plane anywhere. Instead I stay inside the U.S. lower 48 and never fly and always drive one of my vehicles. Also, both our vehicles now are either 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive so we are prepared to drive through literally any conditions we might find with relatively good success even heavy rain or snow.
