"He’s just blowing through people, kind of just dinging a lot of people, bodies flying everywhere," Kowalski said. "These people didn’t get run over, they got f------ thrown through the air. Like a lot of people got tossed up into the air."

Yes. This also makes sense in regard to why so many died. (at least 5 so far). If you look at the videos the SUV car is moving at least 20 to 30 miles per hour and in one of the videos looks like it was moving up to 40 miles per hour) so these people were catapulted likely 50 to 100 feet by the force of the car hitting them. I think we might need to expect possibly up to 1/2 of the people hit this way might not survive the internal injuries of getting thrown 50 to 100 feet through the air and landing on other people or cars or in the street or into stores or telephone poles nearby. If you have ever been to a parade there is a lot of different things like people and other things that people would land on in a situation like this. The road is not clear because it is a parade filled with people, decorations, floats, fire engines, police cars or motorcycles etc. and officers on foot. Because one shot into the car to try to make it stop hitting people.
