I don't think I have ever been on Interstate 90 coming from Spokane to Seattle before so that was a new experience. I was originally born in Seattle and lived here from 1948 until my father moved us to San Diego in 1952 when I was 4 years old. However, most of my relatives up here have passed on now. So now, most of my living relatives are now in California.
But the Columbia River is really amazing coming in this direction too. It is the most impressive River on the West Coast. It's true we have the Sacramento River and the Colorado River in California but the Columbia is the biggest and most amazing river on the west Coast. It is the border a lot between Washington and Oregon too. Interstate 90 Crosses the Columbia River and it sort of takes your breath away to see a river this big if you are from the west Coast of the U.S. and aren't used to seeing a river this big ever.
