The core rationale of the court's conservative majority on Friday was that by returning the issue to the states, it would enable a democratic resolution of a contentious national issue. The last three days suggest that position was either naïve or willfully self-deceiving.

Instead the Supreme Court has started all out Civil War between both sides now. And it is almost guaranteed to get much much worse. Why?
It's sort of like Ukraine with Russia. For example, you have 50 years of the abortion rights given to women across the U.S. Mores have completely changed in all ways everywhere now.
Now you want to take all that away?
That isn't happening without a fight to the death by all the women given that right!

And the poorer and more financially troubled women are going to be fighting the hardest against these changes because it is literally life or death for many of them. and their men won't put up with their deaths from coat hanger abortions either!
So, just like with Russia and Ukraine, the Ukrainians will fight to the death to remain free of Russia.
Likewise, American women WILL fight to the death for their rights over their body now too!
The Supreme Court has done nothing but release a Civil War and that's all!
IT'S NOT THE 1950S ANYMORE!
And people who think it is are VERY VERY VERY naive.
So, instead it's civil war similar to what is happening with Ukraine and Russia.
