True we broke time itself and seasons are now location based

 In other words if you look at the world now, all the old traditional ways time and seasons used to work is now gone. Farmer's almanacs are basically useless regarding data to plant and to harvest given the new local seasons with the weather broken. It snows during the summer when it didn't before, it rains where it didn't before, there is drought where there used to be rain. There is flooding where there used to be none. Nothing can be predicted with Global Climate changes when looking to the future.

So, people have to have their cars, trucks, motor homes or even motorcycles or bicycles prepared for escape to some place they won't die all the time now worldwide.

So, in the moment you need to be able to pack up and escape whatever disaster is happening (or will happen) in your area of the world or else you might not be around anymore.
