The River Thames in England's fresh water has mostly dried up this summer like most rivers in Europe at this point in their 500 year drought. Many places in England and Europe have basically run out of water at this point.
When you visit London it looks like the River Thames is okay. However, that is mostly sea water coming in and out on the tides you are witnessing.
So, I wonder if all the freshwater fish of the Thames River have died or whether England keeps enough species of fresh water fish alive or what they are doing about all that.
I also wonder if England and most of Europe are going to have to start desalinizing water from the ocean to drink (which usually isn't enough to grow food). So, drought is likely affecting food grown right now throughout England and Europe and making food much more expensive.
This is just added to the problem of food prices caused by Putin's attack on Ukraine because Ukraine and Russia used to be the breadbasket of Wheat and other grains for the Middle East and Africa. So, I wonder what's happening in regard to all that?
