I prefer not to workout in a Gym or indoor setting

 I know weather is a factor where many of you live around the world, especially if it snows regularly where you live during winters.

However, if you can I would say exercise out of doors if you feel safe doing this by jogging or walking whatever distances you can safely walk or jog. However, if you live where it is wild and there might be mountain lions like I do in California running down trails or fire roads or even on a bicycle isn't the best idea if there are mountain lions nearby that you know about. However, I still believe jogging and fast walking is the best overall form of exercise for a human being. 

The problem is that regarding other exercises it is easy to overdo one section of your body whereas jogging and walking is a natural exercise that humans have done for thousands and thousands of years already which tends to lengthen people's lives.

When you overdo one section of your body this can more easily contribute to sprains and tears in different muscles. For example, one of my trainers who was from Germany trained tri-athletes too so when she had me do Yoga it sometimes would be painful for me because I was too old to do some of the yoga poses easily. So, this is one reason why walking if you are over 50 or riding a bicycle can be good for many people over 50 as long has you still have good balance.
