A KLR 650 is a dualsport built for riding both on road and off with knobby tires so you could theoreticallly drive it around the world as many people have through dirt, rock roads, pavement of various kinds all over the world. I originally bought this in 2009 thinking I would ride it around the world too but realized I was already too old at 61 then in 2009 to do this just because my wife wasn't going to put up with me doing this. But, I have ridden it all around Mt. Shasta on dirt and 4 wheel drive roads and various places all over California ever since. I prefer back country roads and off road experiences out in nature the best. I'm not interested in riding on freeways at all. To me, The less people on the road for me the better.
