It's presently raining with a 20 mph wind here on the coast which also means snow in the Sierras

My wife called me and said that it was raining where she was too and had to get off the phone so she wouldn't get drenched. Someone coming to visit us cannot because she is snowed in near Lake Tahoe in her home. Another friend will hopefully be able to fly in this week because she is presently snowed in near Mt. Washington on the East Coast too. So, we will see how all this goes this week for us. Like I said presently it is raining with about a 20 mph wind as well. I turned off my hot tub likely for the week of rain we likely are going to face now. But, everything is working well and we don't usually get power outages this late in the year here on the coast but I suppose there is a first for everything. Most power outages are from heavy winds off the ocean that one year blew down 100 or more trees near us a few years ago just form one storm off the ocean. The wind really gets going because there are no obstacles like mountains or trees to slow the wind down coming across 6000 miles of ocean from Asia or from the north from Alaska.
