Comic Con?

A friend of ours wanted his son who is 6 years old to see all the people in costumes at comic con so we all drove down there into San Diego proper to see all the people. It reminded me of walking through Disneyland because of all the many many people there and around 10% of them were wearing some sort of costume of some cartoon character that they liked or meant something to them like Star Wars Stormtroopers or Wonder Woman or other characters.

However, we weren't trying to go into the venue because today this costs several thousand dollars to do per person because of Scalpers and such if you want to actually go in and see all the movie stars and stuff like that. So, we just walked along the boulevard there with all the people. Then we walked up another street to where cars are allowed to drive because of this big function and whole buildings were decorated by one movie or another like there was a SpongeBOB decorated building and there were other ones like this too.

We stood in line at a Spanish Restaurant to get a table for the 5 of us there and then finally took an Uber or Lyft I think back to the parking lot several miles away where we had parked our two cars getting there from northern San Diego County.
