The last time I stayed south of Escondido the Fallbrook fire burned from Fall brook to Oceanside over night

It took out trailer parks and many homes on it's way to Oceanside then because of High Winds. I'm concerned because of how big the smoke cloud is that is visible from South of Escondido which is really huge sort of like a gigantic thunderhead that is brown and goes all the way to the ground and looks really fierce that something like this could happen here this time we are visiting San Diego Country too.

It's kind of eerie seeing this huge Thunderhead sized smoke cloud which denotes a real and very serious fire if you have been around fires as long as I have in California since 1952 when I was 4 years old and we first moved here from Seattle.

However, this time I would worry about Riverside County and Temecula depending upon what direction or directions the winds are blowing the next few days.

If the firefighters can catch a break if the winds aren't too bad maybe they can contain this thing before too long. Otherwise, it could burn for some time this year through everything downwind of it 24 hours a day.
