I understand a little of what it is like to be in an Ivory Tower because I had to retire in 1998 in the fall

Though I keep up with the news and current events here at my blog often I don't understand how younger people are thinking partly because my children are from age 28 to 50 years old right now. So, the danger is that you become out of touch in your ivory tower when you are retired and might think it's still the 1950s when it isn't anymore. Some people might want to go back to the "Security" they felt as white people in the 1950s but the world is never going to be that way again for any race simply because we live in a polyglot nation of mixed races and likely always will. Being able to face the realities of the present allows a person to make useful decisions. Without really understanding what is happening in the world you don't have enough information to make useful decisions for yourself or anyone else.

This is the problem of being in an ivory tower like Trump and Musk live in as billionaires. They have no resemblance at all to the common people of the world and don't really understand the problems of the common people either.  Both Trump and Musk appear to have the motto: "Never give a sucker an even Break".

This is what I get from both of them. They are both as unrealistic as rock and roll singers from the 60s through the 80s. Trump's drug I think has always been cocaine which he did with Carrie Fisher from her accounts before she died on a plane coming home from Europe and then her mother, Debbie Reynolds died within the next week too which was also kind of suspicious.

Whereas Musk's drug of choice appears to be LSD but it's possible that Trump and Musk are doing Cocaine together too since Trump doesn't drink alcohol at all because his older brother died of Alcoholism.
