Here is the quote I'm referring to:
I realized I was in a different kind of place now since I wrote all this mostly about Saint Germain. The biggest change is that I have almost died several times since then because in 2004 I would have been 56 years old and now I'm 76 years old. So, what I had to do to stay alive changed me a lot.
I think that I likely would have let myself die at 50 had I not had a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 10 year old daughter then to watch over and to help grow up. By age 50 my son was around 24 I think then because he was born when I was 26 years old. At that time he lived in the same area I do now.
Since then he taught English in South Korea before moving back to the U.S. with his wife and son since then.
I think I tend to see the world a little differently than I did then just from all the things I have been through. For example, in 2009 my wife and two daughters and I went to Paris and Nice and Monte Carlo in Monaco. In 2011 my wife and two daughters and I went to Scotland and England which is a nice thing to be able to do with your daughter before they grow up so much that they have lives of their own and families and don't have as much time for you as a parent.
As of now only our adopted daughter still lives in California but my oldest biological daughter plans to move back to the U.S. to California again within a couple of months with her husband and daughter which is nice. But, reading something I wrote in 2004 just showed me just how much the water has flowed under the bridge since then so to speak.
