Which is pretty cold for here any time of year. But, inland about 10 to 20 miles they said it will be close to or below freezing so there is a freeze warning for most of this county for tonight right now. It's possible the morning temperatures (the lows) are going to break records for this date too.
The ocean is calming down a little after all the storms so I might feel safe enough to actually go down on a beach with my dog today. We will see.
It's hard to believe it's going to be 2025 in two days, especially since I still remember 1950 when I was 2. And anything after 1972 to 1975 I have seen as "The Future". So, the most important quality I would say to have as a young person still is Adaptability because to live as long as I have if you aren't adaptable you are dead.
Also, some Whale Watchers found one of the bodies out on the ocean looking for whales that had been taken out to sea about a week ago. It is usually tourists who don't live around the ocean that get taken out by the 25 to 35 foot waves as the sneaker waves break on the shores and take them out to sea.
However, the biggest waves have stopped for now as the storms have now passed so I felt safe enough along with many others to take my dog down to the beach to get some exercsise. However, at least 5 feet vertical of Sand had been washed out to sea like some 3 tourists so far this last week. So, rocks that are unseen during the summers are now 5 to 10 feet high all along the beach I was walking on.
